this is a 1997 bmw r850r, with 37xxx miles, it is in really good condition, the bike was running great until the clutch went out, it was diagnosed and they said its the clutch plates, this problem happened overnight, the clutch never slipped or anything so it might even be something a little more simple than clutch plates, the clutch lever has no tension at all it almost feels as if it was loose.. i dont have the money to fix it..it has a salvage title because it got dropped one time in the driveway and the fins on the oil casing broke.. the insurance said it was more to replace it than what the bike is worth...it is just the fins, it doesnt leak or anything. there are also a few scratches here and there but nothing major..the bike turns on and runs but the gears just wont engage.. my loss is your gain.
