Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1965 Chevrolet Impala 4 door hard top. Clear Minnesota title in hand. This car originally came from Richmond, Virginia. The body is very solid with essentially no rust. There is a bubble about the size of a golf ball near the front fender. The previous owner (extended family) had the car appraised after sticking a lot of money into it; appraised at $11,250 (have papers). The car has a fresh new interior that is suede and vinyl. This is the biggest attraction to the car. The seats, door panels, carpet, headliner and rear dash are fresh. Unfortunately today isn't sunny so the pictures of the interior, with exception to the first one, turned out blah. It hasn't been sunny since I took the car out of storage. The first interior picture was taken in the sun and you can see truly how beautiful the interior shines. Also a professionally installed retro style radio with CD changer controls was installed with Infiniti speakers, front and back. Sound is exceptional. The original 283 V8 runs awesome! The Holly carb was just rebuilt, new ignition, cap, rotor, wires, and all new belts and hoses. Timing is set. One pump and starts every time. Electric choke works. 2 speed automatic. Headers without catalytic converter, has a little rumble. Tires are new, but do show a little weather checking. All new weather stripping. Trunk was refinished and have a cover for the spare tire that matches interior. Rear shocks are air shocks with valves in the trunk to inflate/deflate. The trim inside and outside does have pitting. There are some pieces of trim in the trunk that go around the windshield. I believe they are all there. The interior dash is nothing special. The paint is ok. It was repainted. The white top looks great, but it appears that there is some oxidation on the paint. I think its about a 7 out of 10 paint job. Bumpers have a decent shine to them. I bought this car with plans to do some upgrades: bigger wheels, air suspension, etc but realized that I have lost the interest I once had in classic cars. I bought it last spring and drove it the past summer and just took it out of storage. I live in a townhome that I recently bought and I don't have the room for this size of car. If interested, please do not hesitate to call, email, or text me. I can take more photos if desired. The car is available for local pickup. I would trust driving the car a long way. It was recently tuned up by my A+ mechanic who would be willing to talk to you if you have any questions about the mechanics of the car since he did majority of the tuning up work. If you want to ship the car, I will work with you and the shipper to accommodate. I had the car shipped here from Virginia and wasn't to hard. It did cost around $1000 to ship. Prices may have changed since then and each vendor provides a different quality of service at a different price. This car is close to being a show car with a little work or would serve just fine as your weekend cruiser. It does have a few quarks: speedometer stops at 40 mph, left turn signal light housing has a bad connection. Mainly just a couple little things. Call or text Eric @ 651.334.3967.
