Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 I just took this out of winter storage and started it but it’s pretty dirty. This has been my summer driver for the last two years. 27,500 miles on it. I have decided to downsize to a small “in town” size bike since I don’t have to drive as far to work anymore. I have replaced and added many items as follows, New front and rear tries in 2010 - $130.00 New front brake pads in 2010 – $35.00 New front master brake cylinder in 2010 - $90.00 New plugs and plug wires in 2010- $30.00 New 4 into 2 complete exhaust in 2009 – $340.00 New seat cover in 2009 - $50.00 New rear view mirrors in 2009 – $40.00 New hand grips – $15.00 New hard saddle bags in 2009 - $170.00 Used luggage rack and trunk in 2009 – $100.00 The battery was new in 2008 and is starting to get a little weak but still starts. The charging system is fine and all lights work. Clutch is smooth and transmission shifts nice. The rear brakes shoes were checked at time of tire replacement and are good. The bike did not have a center stand when I purchased it so I bought a used one this winter ($30.00) and will be included. Engine is strong. Pulls hard and uses very little (if any) oil. A few small oil leals but no major ones. Gets 40+ mpg. The gas tank has some dents and bad paint –I tried to show in pictures. The tank was flushed and sealed in 2009. Tank did not leak but I wanted to get any dirt out since a leaking petcock was being replaced at that time. Fairing is in good condition but no key for glove box. Side covers are from a CB900 and have one tab broken off but stay in place OK. Repair the dent in the tank, repaint, and a good cleaning/detailing will make someone a nice looking bike. The gas is from last year and may need to be drained and refilled with fresh fuel and a can of carb cleaner. It may be time for a tune-up/valve adjust/carb adjust, etc. since I have not had that done, however can be driven as is. The title is in my name and has current license.
