this 1988 mustang it was a former police car in Decatur Alabama it definitely gets allot of attention where ever it goes i bought it in 2008 and have been driving it every day for the last year and a half it has been pretty reliable the only thing ive had to do to it in that time is replace the clutch it has had allot of work done to it I'm not sure of the exact specs or what all after market parts it has i know the AC,smog pump,power steering,and heater have all been deleted the only thing the crank drives is the alternator tubular k-member c&r radiator c&r expansion tank tubular a arms flaming river manual rack & pinion steeda caster camber plates with spherical bushings steeda bump steer kit koni adjustable struts on the front coil over kit on the front csr electric water pump some braided hoses optima red top battery k&n air filter clarion speakers but no radio electric cooling fan I'm not sure of the exact engine specs or the gear ratio newer front tires around 3000mi new clutch around 2000mi this car is running and driving it was my sole means of transportation until i bought a new one but it needs some tlc it will need two new rear tires before long the it needs new struts the alternator belt squeals when you crank it up the windshield wipers do not work i don't have a door key it has a nickle size hole in the roof (light bar) like all former police cars it has a dime size hole in the dash and some screw holes the tires rub the wheel well when you turn this is a common issue with after market k-members you may need different size front tires or it could just need to be aligned the paint and decals are rough there a couple of dents other than that the body is nice and straight with no rust all of this work is minor stuff i just do not have time for it i think this car would be better as a project or toy than a daily driver mainly for comfort reasons but that's for the new owner to decide i am selling this car AS-IS bidders are advised to ask questions and come see the car in person if you can't come look at it or don't want to that's fine but once the auction is over i expect payment so please make sure you want it before bidding i have listed all known problems but this is a 23 year old car you can call or text me with any questions my # is 334-530-1007On Mar-31-11 at 12:45:15 PDT, seller added the following information: i have lowered the reserve i would never sell this car unless i had to with the work that has been done to it and its history I'm giving it away i have seen rolling chassis with less done sell for more i have also listed it for sale locally this is the last time I'll run it on ebay I'm available 9am-3pm and after 10pm Mon-sat and all day sun Q: I actually drove this car when it was issued to a Decatur Police Officer named Officer Bill LaPradd.
