Vehicle Detail

It's time to let my Veilside Fortune RX-7 go. This car is without doubt a show stopper. It has been in several car shows, HIN etc. Always taking 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in any show I attended. Winner can have the stack of trophies that this car won. It was originally built to race, but then we went a different direction with the car, building it into the amazing car you see. Dyno showed 386 to the wheel. This car has been garaged since the build was complete, only driving on the weekends, and of course a couple of times from Northern California to Southern California for Seven Stock. I have other projects I am working on now and two new cars coming in so I just don't have the time or space to keep this one anymore. Known problems with the car are, 1. one of the EGT sensors needs to be replaced (it has two, one for each rotor, most RX-7's only have one) attached to the Westech dual EGT gauge, 2. the wiring harness under the left fender was damaged by contact with the tire (I had the car sitting a little to low on the suspension). This has been temporarily fixed, but I recommend having a qualified mechanic re-route the wiring above the fender to avoid this happening again. I have priced the car very fairly, especially considering the considerable cost to build this (approx $80,000). More about the car: It has a custom red & black interior,Bride Seats, Kirk Racing Competition 4 point roll cage, Momo Commando Red & Black steering wheel with NRG quick release. It is of course a Veilside Fortune, with custom House of Colors Black & Red paint. Engine was built by Rob at Pineapple Racing, 13B with large street port and 3mm Ceramic Apex Seals. It has a GT40R Single Turbo Conversion, Rotary Extreme V-Mount Intercooler/Radiator, Tial Blow Off and Wastegate, HKS Exhaust Manifold, Indigo Pully Set, Earls Dual Oil Coolers with Earls braided steel lines, Dual Cosmo in tank fuel pumps, AEM FPR, Rotary Performance Fuel Rail, 850cc primary injectors, 1600cc secondary injectors, Mazdaspeed Powerplant Frame, Pineapple Racing Clutch Disc, ACT Extreme Pressure Plate, ACT Lightweight Flywheel & Counterweight, 3" down pipe, 3" mid pipe, Apexi PS Revolution Exhaust, HKS Twin Power, Magnecor 6.5mm Performance Plug Wires For suspension it has HKS Hipermax II Coilovers, Rotary Extreme Toe Links & Trailing Arms. The wheels are iForged Precision Series Monaco Black Center Polished Lip, 19x9 front, 19x13 Rear. The tires are Yokohama ADVAN Sport 255/30ZR-19 Front, 315/25ZR-19 Rear. These are the sizes recommended by iForged when I was building this car, but there is about 4" room to spare inside the rear so you can go much wider. Brakes are 14" slotted rotor with Rotora 6 piston caliper front, 13" slotted cross drilled rotor with Rotora 4 piston caliper rear In Car Electronics: Apexi PowerFC, HKS Boost Controller, HKS Turbo Timer, Westech Dual EGT Gauge, Autometer A/F Gauge, Defi LinkMeter BF Gauges Amber Red: Boost, Oil Temp, Water Temp, Oil Pressure. Stereo System, all custom installed. Alpine IVA-D310 head unit, one Alpine V12 MRV-F345 4 Channel Power Amplifier and one Alpine V12 MRD-M1005 Mono Power Amplifier, 3 Alpine Type R 10" Subs in a custom enclosure in the rear hatch, 2 Alpine Type R 6x9 Speakers behind the seats, and 2 Alpine Type R 5.25" Speakers in the doors.
