Vehicle Detail
Thanks for looking. This auction is for a nice 1996 Mustang GT Convertible. It has been a California car all it's life. It is currently being driven to Michigan right now, and will be here no later than 4/1/11. Runs good and looks good. The car is not perfect however. It is a 15 year old car, that has normal bumps and bruises. It has been female driven most of the time. Being it has been in California all it's life the underside of the car is like new, the seats however are not. If you are looking for a nice cruiser to put the top down for the summer this is it. This is the car you can drive to the store and not worry about getting a door ding. It is pretty loaded. It has the nicer factory sound system with the tape and CD player. It has a power top, power windows, power lock w/ keyfob, rear defrost, etc. The air blows ice cold....and the heat is nice and hot. The oil has been changed every 3000 miles with a sythetic blend oil. It does have some scratches and door dings, and there is some pitting on the chrome factory wheels. The drivers seat is the worst part, and needs to be recovered. We have never worried about it, as it has been covered by a seat cover. The top is brand new and less than 2 weeks old. Everything works on the car. Drive it anywhere. The 111K miles is an estimate, as the car is being driven right not from California to Michigan. The oil was changed before it left, and will be changed again when it gets here to make sure it is ready for the new owners. It could stand a good detail to be rubbed out and buffed. I also wanted to add that the car has a spot in the trunk about the size of a pancake where some white household paint was spilled and is dry, but does not come out of the trunk carpet. On Mar-29-11 at 22:40:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a ton of questions on the car....so I will try and answer some of them. Q) What modifications are done to the car? A) The car has a drop in K&N air filter, which was just cleaned, dryed, and oiled with K&N oil last week. It also has some aftermarket tips welded on the exhaust. Other than that the car is all stock. Q) What has been done to the car? A) The car has been maintained by the same mechanic for some years now. It has always had whatever he has recomended. I know the intake was replaced (he said it was common issue with these cars). Q) Where is the car? The pictures look like it's still in California. A) The car was in California when the pictures where taken. They where taken the day before the ad was posted, so they are very recent pics. The car will be in Michigan no later than 4/1/11. The oil will be changed again when the car gets to MI.
