Orders far exceeded the supply. By mid-1928 The Model A output was up to 4,000 cars per day, and still was not meeting demand. By the next year Ford had made subtle changes to the car and the next year's example was a much better car, November 1928 production reached 6,435 cars per day. Throughout 1929 Model A , output increased, and by June 1930 production had increased to 9,200 cars per day, which appears to be the peak of Model A production. 1931 was the final year for the Model A, possibly the rarest among collectors are the 1929 Model A Roadsters. The paint and body are in great condition. Kawanee green with black fenders and a orange pinstripe is one of the most popular color combinations for the Model A and this one looks fabulous. The vehicle sits on a beautiful set of original wheels and finished in black with all black tires gives this Model A roadster a very attractive look. The 200 ci 40 hp 4 cyl engine has been rebuilt and the 3 speed transmission shifts smooth. The vehicle runs strong and is very exciting to drive, it has been driven on several occasions to some Model A meets and small tours with the local clubs with no issues with the car. The interior was restored and fitted in Dark Brown with a tan top with matching side curtains. The vehicle is equipped with rear spare tire, stone guard, wing wings, and a horn. This vehicle is an investment quality car that will bring much pride and joy to the next new owner. Model A Roadsters are getting very difficult to obtain and finding one in such good condition is very rare. If a buyer buys a car and hauls it on his own trailer enclosed or open the transaction is also subject to Sales Tax and DMV fees. If a buyer buys a car and wishes to drive the vehicle home we are required to collect california sales tax. Sales tax is non-refundable for any reason.
