2001 Other Makes Custom

You are bidding on a complete Wheelie Machine, including the Motorcycle, Trailer and chassis dyno converted to the wheelie machine. I started with a Dynojet 150 chassis dyno and a 2001 Yamaha R1, then made custom brackets to hold the bike and allow it to pivot around the rear axle. The motorcycle has been modified with a custom billet aluminum oil pick-up, so that the engine will not starve for oil during extended high wheelies. Otherwise is all stock, and I have the rest of the body panels not seen in the pictures and they will be included in this auction. The addition of a large hydraulic pump and plumbing creates resistance to the rear wheel making the wheelies more life like and realistic. The front wheel is positioned on an angled riser to make it easier to initiate the wheelie and can be adjusted higher or lower to make riding wheelies easier for beginners or much more difficult for more experienced riders. This machine was put together and used for a few weeks at a friends motorcycle shop, more for fun than anything else. It was also brought out to a few bike nights and set-up as a pay-to-ride Amusement ride, has sat in storage over the winter and now needs a new home. This can be used as a stand alone business by charging customers to ride wheelies by the minute or however you want. Also is great practice for stunt riders, or the average rider wanting to learn how to wheelie. Would also make a great promotional tool to generate interest in a wide variety of motorsports events.
