Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. I personally test drive each vehicle at least 30 miles so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are reading is my honest opinion of this car based completely on my test drive and observations. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. I know a lot of things about a lot of cars but I don't know everything about every car. If you have any questions, please ask. Personal inspections are also encouraged whenever possible. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a gorgeous 2000 Saab 9-5 Aero sedan. This limited production performance sedan is finished in a deep black with matching black leather interior. This paint has a mile deep shine from any angle. There is some usual peppering on the nose from highway driving and two minor scrapes on the top of the rear bumper from loading and unloading the trunk. This is an eye catching car. Just look at the photos! My favorite thing about European performance cars is that the most potent versions are very conservatively styled. The only visual difference between the high performance Aero and the basic versions are the larger 17" wheels, lowered stance and a very small "Aero" badge on either fender. The larger alloy wheels give her a very aggressive look. The high performance tires have good tread left, too. The interior of this Saab is in great condition. The black leather seats are in good condition and show no wear. Both seats are power operated and the drivers seat has multiple memory settings. The carpets are all clean and in good condition. There is a full set of floor mats in the trunk. The factory premium sound system sounds great and includes both CD and cassette with steering wheel audio controls. All of the power features work as they should. Of course, there are a few pixels missing from the display. All the seats are heated for your driving comfort. The climate control is fully functional but the A/C will probably need recharged for the hot days coming up. This is a very comfortable car to drive. The engineers really thought this generation through and it shows. Pride in ownership shows throughout. There is a complete set of owners books in the glove box. The interior is clean and roomy. The trunk is also cavernous, like with all Saab's. These are truly great cars and perhaps the most overlooked European performance sedans here in the states. Mechanically, this Saab is in good running condition. The tried and true 2.3L turbocharged engine starts right up and runs smoothly. During my test drive, the engine held proper operating temperature. There were no warning lights on. On the worst city streets, you can feel a little play in the front end. On the highway and normal roads, however, her road manners are excellent. The handling is excellent and the steering is tight and responsive. The brakes stop the car as they should. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts like it should. The turbo spools quickly and really wakes the car up when you crack it open. Power is instantly accessible, making accelleration effortless. At highway speeds, she is smooth as silk and drives strait down the road with no vibration or pulling. This car is a rocket and could keep side by side with most of its V8 rivals of the same age. One should never under estimate a Saab. The 2.3L engine is known for its longevity and simplicity. With less than 150,000 miles, this one is just hitting its stride. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
