This beauty has only 3 owners and has LOW MILES at only 29,000 since new! Retains original solid lifter 11:1 LS6, comes with Cowl induction w/flapper, Fiber optics that work correctly, G84 4:10 posi 12 bolt rear end, M40 Turbo 400 transmission, N41 Power steering, C50 Rear window defogger, N33 tilt wheel, Wears original Polyglass F70 14 white letter polyglass tires. Also came with bucket seats and very rare center console. Car was fully restored using original parts in the mid 80's. NOTE: A small scrap of paper was found wedged in a binding ring used to assemble the seat, see the picture and just to the right of the finger is the piece of build sheet wedged in the binding ring. The piece of paper was removed and it was not much but, it did happen to have the Carb code section of the build sheet, this carb code is for a Holley carb. The only 454 Big Block in 70 that used a Holey carb of this code was the LS6. This was enough to show that without a doubt this a true LS6 car.About this Chevelle: In April 1970 Bob Fuller walked into MCeleney Motors in Clinton Iowa and order not 1 but two LS6 Chevelles. A black convertible and this Red/Red Coupe. He took delivery of the cars in July 1970. The 2nd day he owned the cars he had 450/hp painted on the rear bumper pad. This can be still seen on both cars today. The coupe was raced in E-Stock at Cordova Illinios for the 1st year. At the time in 1970 Troopy & Kling were at the top of their game dominating the SS/EA class in their 70 LS6 Chevelle. Fuller decided he wanted to get an edge for his LS6 coupe, so out came the motor and was sent to Truppi & Kling to perform balancing, and some machining secrets. Fuller Sold the car in 1976 to the late collector Jermome Shinkay where it remained until 1983 where it was purchased with 24,000 miles on the odometer, drove to Seattle and then shipped to Alaska. Car has always been in climate controlled garage and driven to an occasional car show. This car runs like a LS6 should pulls like a Banshee anytime anywhere. The car was fully restored in the mid 80..s. This was done to an already near mint car, utilizing the original interior and all original solid sheet metal. As for this Red Coupe's Sister, the convertible LS6 - it is well known today as the lowest mile LS6 convertible and eventually made its way into the Chisholm collection for some time and then was sold in at Meachem action in 2009 for $500,000. This car will be sold with copy of original registration to Fuller, contact information for all 3 owners including original owner Bob Fuller (Shinkay deceased 2010).
