67 Deluxe Walk Through Split Bus No Reserve Rescued from a Kansas field this bus has been sitting for at least 15 years. Its been cleaned up and put in storage for a second chance on life. M Code info - produced Nov 23rd, 1966 originally delivered to St. Louis, Missouri Option Codes 081 Walk Through, 091 Whitewall Tires, 114 6 popout windows 130 Deluxe without sunroof/windows, 139 Sealed Headlights The Good: Clear Kansas title in my name (no bill of sale worries) Solid upper body, all doors/panels/corners are in good shape, nose and roof are perfect Original Sea Blue/Cumulus white paint in good condition, cleans up to a nice shine (see pic) Bus is a roller on original 14” rims with reduction box transaxle All deluxe trim body trim is present, front bumper in good shape with deluxe trim Original headliner in good shape (for a 44 yr old bus), has a few tears but repairable The Bad: Cargo floor and outriggers are rusty and in need of replacement/repair (parts cost approx $450) Bottom of rocker panels have typical bus rust, need replacing (parts approx $150) No engine or rear apron, white engine lid shown in pics from 66 bus is included in sale (engine available for extra $) Been sitting for 15+ years, all the brake parts (drums, mast cyl, wheel cyl, hoses) are there but need work Missing items – Seats, door panels, clock, fuel gauge, right rear window, and anything else you don’t see in pics. Bus is “as is” as shown in pictures, if you have a question about anything ask it before you bid or win the auction. Odometer shows 7204 miles, don’t know whether that is 107K, 207K, or ??? Payment and pickup/shipping $500 non refundable deposit due within 24 hrs of auction close, balance due within 4 days. Car needs to be picked up within 2 weeks of auction close. If for some reason you wont be able to pay the balance within 4 days, pick the bus up within 2 weeks, or have a question about shipping contact me so we can work that out BEFORE the auction ends otherwise it will be relisted and you will forfeit your deposit. Don’t bid if you don’t intend to pay! I will move to the 2nd highest bidder if the deposit hasn’t been left after 24 hrs. Bus is in Wichita, KS and shipping to Southern California is approx $900. For a shipping quote to your area try www.cosmosautotransport.com, I have used him before and had pretty good luck. If you are within a day or two drive from Wichita and have a tow vehicle you can drive here, rent a U Haul car carrier for $60/day, drive home, and return the trailer in your home town at any U Haul dealer. Looking at the pictures of the undercarriage and the online diagrams of parts. The 2 crossmembers that have outriggers (one is just in front of the rear wheels and the other is just behind the front wheels) need replacing as do the outriggers. the rest of the chassis components look ok.
