1986 Volvo 740 4-cylinder wagon, dark blue with black leather. Was running GREAT until I ran it into a puddle Sunday that turned out to be up to my knees. Turns out that Volvos do not swim. This just happened Sunday the 20th. Currently, it cranks strongly but does not turn over. My friend's husband looked at it and said that it does have water in the air filter & spark plugs are corroded, may be worse, we didn't try to disassemble it to see. Jumping it doesn't work. There is about an inch of standing water on the floorboards. Here's what I know about cars: I might know how to pop the hood on a good day. I needed instructions to figure out how to shift my friend's Mercedes. I can't tell you much because I don't know much. Asking me about cars is like asking Paris Hilton about living frugally. You are barking up the wrong tree. You will have to come look at it yourself, which you are very welcome to do so. It is in Burbank near Victory and Hollywood Way. Brand new tabs (to Feb. 2012), only the normal dings/dents for age, radio is missing and A/C never worked but overall this car was awesome. Just drove it to Scottsdale, AZ and back three weeks ago. Title is fine. In fact, I just paid off all the $!&!$^ parking tickets. Murphy's Law! You tow, obviously! I'm working on getting pictures but I wanted to get the listing up.
