Vehicle Detail
1997 Volkswagen EuroVan Full Camper Winnebago conversion. 195K miles I purchased this van as the second owner in 2003, it has been cross country 4 times and on numerous other short (1000 mile trips). I was a college instructor with summers off but in 2008 moved to administration (the dark side) and no longer have the luxury of traveling in the summer. I have loved this vehicle and hope it finds a good home. Features: A/C: Front & Back controls. Cruise Control. Power Locks. Power Steering. Airbag: Driver & Passenger. Revolving front seats. Anti-Lock Brakes. CD/Radio. Power Windows. Rear Window Defroster. Rear window wiper. Front wheel drive, Automatic four-speed transmission, gasoline 2.8L V6 engine. New (last March) āCā class, 6 ply tires. Roof top luggage carrier with tie down bars. Original manuals. Clean, good condition upholstery - Non-Smokers. Trailer hitch & wiring. Like all of the EuroVan campers, this vehicle is white with a gray interior. Camping Features: Factory gas stove, propane tank, refrigerator, sink, water tank/pump. 12 gallon fresh water storage - 8 gallon gray water storage; 5.9 gal (28 lbs) LP (Propane) gas tank; AC/DC/LP gas refrigerator (2 cu. feet); 2-burner LP gas stove; Stainless steel sink/countertop; Adjustable dining/utility table; 12000 BTU forced air furnace. RV connections (gas, water, electricity). Pop-up roof with canvas sides and 3 screen windows. Two beds - one 73"x43" bed for two in the pop-up - plus rear bench unfolds into second 73"x42" bed for two. Outdoor hose/shower from rear mounted spray nozzle. Piles of storage, with hanging closet, cupboards and locking storage panels. Florescent lights over galley and lower bed. Rear door bug screen. All canvas in excellent condition with no tears. Auxiliary deep-cycle coach battery operates electric when hook-up not available. All plumbing and electrical is in full working order. Camping made easy and relaxing. Maintenance: The air conditioning compressor was replaced in Spring 2007, the heater core in Jan 2010. Late last year I blew a head gasket and it has been replaced and the heads were machined and all new seals, etc. Ready for the next 100,000.
