Vehicle Detail
1971 Ford Mustang Convertible with original rebuilt M code 351C and factory Ram Air. This car is a real head turner and deserves to be with someone who appreciates it. Here are it's key features: Rebuilt original 351C Factory Ram Air C-6 Automatic 3.25:1 Traction-Loc Axle Power Top Gauge Package New Holley Carb Custom Rims I bought this car on Ebay 7 years ago. Invested alot of time and money into it and now realize it is entirely too much car for me. It has alot of power and needs to be driven by someone who appreciates its capabilities. This car is a rare find with alot of Mach I features in a convertible. I love the car, but it needs to go and is priced to move. There some flaws that the new owner may want to address. There is venting for factory air conditioning but there is no condenser Heater Core is by-passed When it was restored, some of the aftermarket interior parts did not fit like the originals (like the interior door panels), I have not tried to fix the fit with fear of breaking something. Maybe with a little effort they would tighten up Everything was restored except for under the dash, there is some rust on the fire wall and I don't really know the extent. The car has all new rear quarters and floors and is solid everywhere else Paint looks sharp but is not original color. I liked the blue with the white top and interior more than the original dark green metalic. This car is probably not show quality yet, but certainly could be with some attention. The engine is stock and includes the all the parts for the factory ram air (including the hood parts) but it needs to be polished a little bit. The original AM/FM 8-track player is not in there but I bought but have not installed a stereo that is CD capable that will fit the factory opening without alterations. Please look at the pictures, Email me with any questions and I will answer them the best I can. I have some documentation to include the listing when I bought it and all the engine rebuild information from the mechanic/machinist that rebuilt it. THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!
