Vehicle Detail
Sorry guys, ebay pulled the other auction, said I listed it wrong?? Here's a 70 El Heavy Chevy I don't have time or money to complete. If it don't sell this round, look for up-coming parts, because she's going on the chopping block, hate to do it because this is a rare truck, but it has to go. I traded a Nice 57 Chevy Arizona car for this and got shafted. It had a 12 bolt under it when I looked at it and the jerk pulled it the night before delivery and stuck and open 10 bolt in it and never bother to even tighten the bolts,2 turns each nut,he didn't even put drums on it.I have a set of drums for it though.Plain rip-off! The El needs alot of work and is a Project build. I do have clear title in my name in-hand. It has had New Quarters put on both sides . The tail gate was really nice but now has a light wrinkle thanks to me and the 4-wheeler. I cleaned and painted the front suspension and put a Good running 4-bolt Mexican 350 in it. Motor,Trans,Drive Shaft, and Clutch Linkage are all install, and yes I did tigthen up the rear and also added air shocks, with New Coil Springs. I put a New double roller Coyles timing chain it it,a 488 Comp Cam & Lifters,a nice Eldebrock Air-Gap Intake with a Good Edelbrock Carb,Headers,a New Pro-Street 11" Clutch & Pressure Plate,a Good Saginaw 4-speed with a Hurst Compitition Shifter.I made the Billet Shifter Handle as it has a bench seat, and yes this is a Factory 4-speed Heavy Chevy truck. I have the Factory Heavy Chevy hood pin hood in good condition that goes with it and alot of parts also, but it has alot of parts missing also. Parts I have are, tail lights and lens,back-up lights and lens, headlight buckets and bands, grille'good driver',front bumper'decent driver or good core',power steering pump, wiper motors,Hood Hinges, wiper arms, chrome trim acrossed the cowl, some bed trim'not the best though, windshield trim, gas tank lids,ETC. The dash was cracked from some idiot trying to remove the radio but I have another nice complete dash surround for it. Glass is all good' Someone borrowed the drivers window channel but I have all that also. The fenders need the bottoms replaced but the rest is pretty solid and can be fixed,at least they're originals. I have a metal and a New Plastic inner fender for the Pass.side,I don't have the drivers side. The corse support I fixed because they wanted $500.00 for a GM Big Block Replacement.I welded in new metal on the couple spots that were bad and re-painted it.It's a good driver still. The floor boards have some rust in them but are only the tipical pan re-placement on the lower flats. Someone mudded around the rear window so I guess it needs attention there also,it had a factory Vinyl top on it,I have the vinyl top molding also. The bed has a couple holes as seen in pic's also. The Ralley wheels don't go that's on the front but it will have rollers on it. IF you hit Buy-It-Now I will give you a set of Ralley wheels with the truck.2-8" Ralleys for the rear & 2 -7" Ralleys for the front,BUT ONLY with the Buy-It-Now option. I'm sure I missed some things so contact me at 717-762-1369 or confedart@embarqmail.com with any Q's.
