2 for 1 deal!!! You get 2 cars in this auction. Please read. Selling my 1984 Dodge Colt GTS Turbo. This car has only 79K original miles, rust-free condition, and runs great! Also selling a matching 1984 Colt GTS Turbo for parts. Check out my AutoCheck score and results, no accidents, actual mileage checks out, rust free California car! About the car: For those of you who know what this is, skip this section :) Built by Mitsubishi, and imported for Dodge or Plymouth, this 1984 Colt has a G32B 1.6L, SOCH, electronically controlled turbo 4-cyl engine, with MCA-jet injection. It is equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission, and a hi-low 'transfer case' for each gear, including reverse. This means you have 8 forward gears (yes 8), and a 2-speed reverse. Weighing in at just over 1800lbs, this small hatchback delivers strong acceleration, and nimble cornering characteristics. The GTS turbo package includes factory options such as larger front and rear sway bars, larger front disc brakes, heavy-duty transmission and clutch, honeycomb front grille, front lip spoiler, side rocker spoilers, rear hatch spoiler, special embossed two-tone seats front and rear, special GTS and Turbo graphics on the exterior, and an attitude to match. 0-50mph: 5.78 seconds Power 102 HP @ 5,500 rpm Torque 122 lbs-ft @ 3,000 rpm This car started out as a bare shell when I got it. I have dropped the fuel tank and cleaned it, cleaned all the fuel lines, added a new fuel filter, and it runs great! Actually, it runs like a scalded dog! Starts right up, idles smooth, and accelerates hard all the way to the red line. Check out the videos I have posted, I can't get the tires to hook in 1st gear, and it chirps 2nd and 3rd!! Keep in mind that I'm at 5,280 feet in elevation, this car is a rocketship at lower elevations! Transmission also shifts very nice, even with speed-shifts, no grinding. I have also completely changed the original red interior over to a better looking all-black interior from another Colt turbo. I have not installed the dash pieces yet, but they are all there, including every nut, bolt, screw, and wire connector needed. Even the original style radio is included. On top of that, the donor dash is nice, but has a small crack across the middle. And I even have the original steering wheel in black. This black interior is in pretty decent shape. The seats don't have any major rips, although they could use a good cleaning. The carpet is nice, but again could use a nice shampoo. Door panels are good, not warped or ripped. I have not installed the headliner, but I have a nice one for the buyer, no rips or tears, you just have to put it in yourself. The body on this car is dead straight, other than a few small door dings and things like that. Not a speck of rust anywhere to be found. Make sure you check out the interior shots when it was a shell. Doors and hatch are clean, no rust. The missing body panels (hood, fenders, side spoilers, grille, lower air-dam-without front spoiler, headlight buckets, turn signal buckets, etc) will be included with this auction. I have a complete turbo parts car available, in the exact white color as this car. The missing window and trim, along with the front and rear bumpers are also included, but not yet installed. Side skirts are also included, but not installed. The motor is very strong, fires right up, doesn't smoke, idles smooth, and has plenty of top end power. However, some of the engine bay vacuum lines and a few other items (washer bottle, coolant bottle, etc) are missing. But again, I have several spare parts, and a few dedicated parts cars so there are plenty of spare parts to turn this car back to original condition. The only thing I don't have for the car is a complete exhaust system. The previous owner removed it, and installed a short down pipe from the exhaust, and nothing else. That is why the car is so loud currently. A catalytic converter and muffler will need to be installed in order to make it street legal. These parts I DO NOT have, sorry. The pictures show a half-complete car, but remember that the parts car to finish this is included in the auction. No title on the parts car. I have done my very best to describe this car to the best of my knowledge. Please remember that you are bidding on a 26yr-old car, and it won't be perfect. But also keep in mind that is a very nice, low-mileage, rare vehicle that is an absolute blast to drive, easy to work on, and honestly...when was the last time you have seen one of these???
