Up for auction is a beautiful laser straight and super solid 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T tribute car. The car started its life as an original west coast 1970 Dodge Coronet with red exterior and white interior 318 automatic. The body of this car is nothing short of beautiful. Super straight with PPG basecoat and clear buffed to a gorgeous plum crazy purple finish. Looking down the sides of the car you can clearly see this body was done at a professional shop that took the time and effort to do a great job. Underneath the car is super solid with rust free frame rails and torsion mounts. The engine was removed and the engine compartment media blasted and also shot in beautiful plum crazy purple ppg base/clear paint. The engine compartment is outstanding. The interior looks great with its new front Legendary seat covers with new foam and batting. The rear seat and headliner are the original and still look great! This original west coast car was not abused! The car was built for highway cruisin with fuel economy in mind. The original 318 was replaced by a mildly built 360 with a 4bbl carb. The car runs and drives new and still has plenty of power to keep up with the big boys. The transmission is a 727 with a B&M shifter. Rear end retains it stock highway gears.This is the ultimate highway cruise car that won't kill your pocketbook when gas prices reach $5 a gallon! The back of this car looks awesome with the old school wide Cragar SS rims, rechromed bumper and new stainless exhaust tips.I was planning on putting stock magnum rims on, but decided to sell. The Cragar SS still look good and are presentable. I misplaced one of the SS center caps but should be able to find. Relocation and economy forces sale of this beautiful car.
