Vehicle Detail
I am listing this for a friend who I've listed and sold 10+ cars for on ebay. Every sale has been a positive feedback purchase!! This is his 1934 Ford truck. It has only been driven in town, it has not been driven on the highway. The truck has several new parts on it which include: Tires, brakes, front & rear wheel cylinders, master cylinder, both water pumps upper hoses, gauges, distributor, 6v coil and 10 gallon spun aluminum tank. The flathead engine is a 1937 that has a leak at the rear main. It runs nice and cool 180-200 degrees and carries 40lbs oil pressure cold and then settles down to 7-10lbs when warm. The rear axle is 1980 Malibu with a 2:40 ratio, coupled to a 49' Ford 4-speed transmission. The front axle and brakes are from a 40' Ford. The cab is pretty rusty on the lower half as shown in the pictures. Doors do open-shut & latch. It has been chopped 2", floor is tacked in place, seat folds up to expose the battery, windshield glass is new and still opens, back glass is new, regulator is missing in the drivers door, doors have been sprung open so they are both buckled at the front edge. The bed is in decent shape with some rust in floor under the wood. The fuel tank is neatly tucked away in the hideway trunk. The frame was built with 2"x3" steel tubing with Model A horns that was then painted candy orange. The front suspension is set up on split wishbones and the rear is a typical 4-link setup. (need shocks to kill rebound) Whitewall tires pictured with the chassis are not included in this auction, blackwalls only. It has a clear 1934 Kansas title. In all, this is a great start to a pretty neat truck. It will need some TLC but it will start, run, steer, drive and stop! This is being sold as-is with now warranties spoken or implied. A $500.00 deposit will be required within 48 hours of the auction ending. We will assist with delivery as much as we can, however buyer is responsible for all shipping cost. Any questions? Send PM or you can call the owner directly at 785-869-3270, evenings after 5:30. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
