Vehicle Detail
1968 Mustang Fastback that started life as a 302 J code. I bought the car as you see it, all I have had done is install stronger Head-gaskets and intake gaskets on the 429CJ, its a 70 CJ out of a Torino, heads are Dove-A ported and polished . The car has no rust issues that I know of, and had a nice restoration a few years ago NOT A BONDO BUCKET, ALL NEW METAL. The quarters, fenders, and doors were replaced, the hood and deckled are Fiberglass shelby replicas. The wheelhouses (inner and outer) were done, as well as the torque boxes and rails...it was done right. The paint is Whimbleton white with blue stripes and is flawless, there are no waves on this car...its all metal and glass. Trim is excellent, all the chrome is new and the emblems are correct shelby replicas. Door handles, mirrors and window trim are new. The Rear end is a 9 inch, 411 gears, reverse locker 28 spline. Dynamics race C6 auto trans with cooler. Has remote duel oil filters for easier changes. RCU racing buckets with 5 point harness. New dash and rugs. Interior is in great shape. Monster tach, fuel pressure gage with isolation hook-up. Holley 950 HP Carb D.P. Comp cams 280 H Magnum cam and lifters, Manly valve guides. Wiend Aluminim water pump, Milodon deep pan, Crower roller rockers MSD billet distributor, pro master HD alternator, new mini starter. Tubular headers with 3 1/2 inch collectors. New Flomaster exhaust. 1/2inch aluminum fuel line with new holley blue pump mounted on custom gas tank with sump built in. Four core radiator. Shock towers have been professionally shaved back to make room for 429CJ, plugs are very easy to change. 429 non-bored flat top pistons. Dove "A" 73cc heads with crew in studs. Car does 11.0@120 mph, roughly 600 HP. Very nice car you will not be disappointed take it out on the street for cruises or bring it to the shows, it has won many trophies by the last owner (he owned for 14 years) I have a clear title coming in my name. Also, driver door opens from inside, but not outside, easy fix, probably a rod needs to be reinstalled. This is a no reserve type of auction, and i'm really not interested in selling it early, I would like to let it run its course. For questions call me at 1-207-841-3074 and please don't call asking what I am looking to get, because it will go to whoever wins the last bid, and I have no control over that but am confident it will do very well. I also have a book of receipts form the last owner and myself. By bidding you agree this is being sold as is with no warranty implied or expressed, and agree to a $500 non refundable good faith deposit due within 24 hours of auction close. I have experience with selling cars overseas, so if you are from another country, I am familiar to the process and will do whatever I can do to help. If you are local feel free to come by and hear it run, I will take you for a spin, and you can go through it entirely as there is nothing to hide...its just a fantastic car to see!!
