Vehicle Detail
Just want to state that Im selling this for my parents who live in Alabama, the Bronco is registered in Alabama but is located here with me in North Florida.Alabama doesnt not issue titles on vehicles 1975 and older, the Bronco is legal and registered and taged currently in Alabama,it will be sold with a bill sale from my mother and a copy of the current Alabama registration. If purcasher wants I can have it titled in Florida for an additional 100 dollars above the selling price and get a quick title and you will recieve a Florida title, ....................Now with that out of the way here are the details. This is a 1972 Bronco, It has a real steel halfcab and bulkhead with no rust. The truck has a 1974 block 351windsor, Factory four barrel intake and edelborck carb. this a 3speed on the tree.Truck has been converted to power steering and power front dick brakes. All breaks and been redone and stops great. The front bearings are new and has new shocks all the way around.New tanks, new sending units(has Dual tanks) Has bushwacker fender flares, 2.5 inch lift and 285/75/16 tire.Has new floor pans, rockers front door post and tailgate.Truck is soilid but does have a few spots here and there.Has dual exhaust with glass packs that have that old classic sound. New windshield, door felts, and door weatherstripping.Hood scoop. Painted military od primer. Truck does have some flaws like the rear main leaks some, and so does the power steering resivor, and the gas guage works but isnt real reliable.rims and tires are not that old but one of the tires got a hole in it and when I replaced it they didnt have the exact tread pattern avalible so I had to get one that was close.Truck runs strong and gets a lot of attention.CB in pics is not included. I was going to get the truck for my self but just have too many projects on my plate. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangements. Plaes feel free to as me any questions you may have. On Mar-16-11 at 00:16:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a ton of emails about the bronco, 27 just in the last 14 hours. I am going to try and add some more details that will hopefully awnser some questions . The heat does work in the Bronco but anybody that knows bronco will tell you that the factory heat is far from perfect. The steering is tight but does have a slight wandeer, I replaced the large tierod on it and havent gotten it aligned yet the few places I went didnt know how to align a staright axel....so much for real mechanics these days!!!! There is spot of rust on each rear door post, if you look at the pics you can just see them, not bad and the post are still very strong. Its never overheated on me, it has a huge aluminium radiator. The drivers side door hinge is worn and could stand a rebuild. Wipers work The truck runs and drives great but it is almost 40 years old, I presonally would try or even want to drive it across the country, not that I dont think i couldnt do it but it is an old truck and rides like a an old truck not an Expedition and on top of that you will spend some $$$ on gas, not the most fuel efficent truck in the world. On the Fla Title, if you want to go that option Florida has the ablitiy to print titles at the DMV the same day but if their system is down it will take about 2 weeks to get the title but more than likly I could get it that day. Buyer will pay 100 dollars above the price for that option. Frame is solid, some surface rust and some light pitting in the very rear but absolutly no rust thru. Brakes are all new, work just fine. I have never messed with the front or rear ends, pinion looks to have a small leak in the rear. The floor pans are roughed in, need to be seemed sealed , but very very solid. No rust in tailgate, its new I have never put the truck in the mud, as far as the 4 wheel drive I have locked in the hubs and tranfer case in the yard and everything worked fine again I have never had it off road. I will be out of town from March 26th thru April 2nd The Bronco has to be picked out before that time period or after Full Payment is due 3 days after the auction ends. I prefere a bank transfer because paypal charges just too much in fees but if thats your only option the it will be okay. The truck is not restored, there will need to be some finish work on the welds on the rockers and floors, but everything is good and strong, want going for the restored condition just usable and solid. Really not into trading unless you have a classic mustang or such. Already have a Jeep.......... i work night so if you email me a question after 4pm I cannot awnser until 1am( when I go to work) If you want to talk to me personally my number id 904-327-4740, but please call before 4pm eastern time. After that im in sleepland!!!! Hopefully the gives a little more insight into the Bronco On Mar-16-11 at 09:39:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Please forgive my typos and spelling, trying to type this stuff at 1am while at work and half asleep is a pain........LOL
