FOR SALE W/ NO RESERVE AND LOW OPENING BID: 1998 JEEP WRANGLER SE - In order to help fund a new business venture, it has become necessary to sell my 1998 Jeep Wrangler, so here goes . . . If you've ever owned a Jeep Wrangler, I'll be preaching to the choir when I say that they are the most fun, versitile, affordable vehicles you can own. In the winter, you've got a snow-eating beast that will handle any road and weather conditions with safety and ease. In the summer, you've got a topless fun machine that will get you just about anywhere on earth, limited only by your imagination and the contents of your backpack and cooler. We recently moved from Illinois to Moab, Utah to start a new business, and need to free up some additional capital, so unfortunately, the time has come to sell our extra Jeep. If you are the winning bidder, here's what you'll get: 1998 Jeep Wrangler SE, w/ fuel efficient 2.4 L. 4-cylinder engine that is bullet proof and as close to maintenance-free as an engine can get. We've got 115,000 miles on her, so she is broken in, but Jeep mileage seems almost irrelevant b/c these engines just keep going and going. Our Wrangler is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and Bestop soft top, radio and CD player with Sound Bar speakers on the roll bar. The tires are BFG Wrangler T/As, virtually brand new (only about 5,000 miles on them). We recently replaced the windshield due to a small rock crack, and it needs nothing, to my knowledge. Everything works properly, including 4-wheel drive, and the engine runs strong. As is the case with many Jeep Wrangler interiors, the front seats have a couple small cracks along the seams, so we keep seat covers on them (as shown in the photos - please note that the new covers are camoflage, shown in the last pics, not the brown covers visible in most of the pics). Exterior color is dark green metallic, and the seat covers are camoflage. Unlike many Wranglers, the dash is not cracked or compromised. There are NO areas of rust on the exterior (the undercarriage, like on all vehicles, shows some rust, as shown), and the floorbed is solid. Overall condition inside and outside is very good for the year and miles - there are a couple small indentations on the hood, but as you can tell from the photos, they are not very apparent. In short, I do not believe the winning bidder will be disappointed. Please note: The Jeep is currently in the Moab / Castle Valley, Utah area. However, I can work with interested bidders on delivery to the Chicago area, or to points in between, assuming we can work out reasonable terms. I have a 100% Ebay rating for a reason, and I will do anything within reason to complete a successful transaction that works for the buyer.
