This 1960 Austin Healey bugeye sprite is in immaculate condition. This car was built/modified to be driven and enjoyed. This car was painted recently with a beautiful powder blue. The wiring harness has been replaced. The front brakes are new and have been converted from drums to disc brakes. The transmission has been replaced for a Datsun 5 speed manual, this feature compliments the 1275cc A+ series engine upgrade and makes the car very fun to drive and is smooth at highway speeds. The interior was replaced 2 years ago when the car was repainted. It also has things like, and electric fuel pump, series 2 radiator (much better for cooling), twin SU carbs that where recently rebuilt. The Mini-lite style wheels are new, and it it also comes with the factory wheels and new tires. In addition to the installed Hardtop, it come with a soft top and tonneau cover. We have been setting this car up to be a driver, it is in fantastic shape and solid. With the transmission it cruises at 75 mph @ 2400 rpm. It is really set up to be a fun fast car, capable of long trips. As far as a bugeye goes this is one of the most enjoyable ones out there. All of the work has been professionally performed by British and Classic Car Doctors in Upperville, VA. It took me a while to find the hard to find factory hardtop for the car. I will make the car open for inspection at British and Classic Car Doctors, in case anyone wants to check it out on a lift or test drive it prior to purchasing.
