Offering this very nice Honda Shadow VLX 600. Bike is in very good condition but needs a battery and fuel pump. I tried to start it last summer but found that the fuel pump was not running. I know nothing about motorcycle mechanics so I did not mess with it. I now find out that the battery has lost its charge. The rear wheel has some surface rust from sitting all winter but could probably be removed. Otherwise this is a great low millage bike that needs a little repair to get it running for the summer. This bike is being sold as is with no guarantees or warranty so please ask any questions before bidding. It is for local pickup only unless the buyer want to pay for regional delivery. On Mar-11-11 at 09:41:07 PST, seller added the following information: Some ebayers have suggested that I try to spray fuel into the carb to see if it will run. We hooked up another battery and tried this and it did run as long as we sprayed gas to it (only about 10 seconds). Another ebayer suggested bypassing a relay to see if the pump works then. Again, I do not know anything about motorcycle mechanics and will not try this. I will leave that up to the new owner that may know better than me.
