1975 Buick LeSabre Cv."$40,000+ Restoration Receipts" The best restored 1975 Buick LeSabre Custom Convertible in the world! Exterior: Artic White Interior: White Convertible top: White Convertible boot: Red Serial Number: 4967J5Y120766 Mileage: 4560 (Since completed restoration) Engine: Original 350cid 4-barrel V-8 (Completely rebuilt) Transmission: Original 3 Spd Auto (Completely rebuilt) Let's take a trip back in time to April 23rd, 1975 Jim and Mary Anne Kirchschlarger drove their 1973 Oldsmobile Royal to Baber Buick in Fox Lake, Illinois to look at a brand new 1975 Buick LeSabre Custom Convertible. The salesman, Dave McElroy, let Jim and Mary Anne drive this gorgeous Buick you see on Ebaymotors.com and they instantly fell in love with this car. The MSRP on this car was $6484.30...Jim & Mary Anne added an AM/FM stereo radio for $89.21, body side moldings for $35.00, door edge guards for $8.00 and floor mats for $15.00 which brought the total to $6631.51. With taxes and tag the grand total rose to $6796.41 but they traded in their 1973 Oldsmobile Delta Royale 88 Convertible , serial number 3N67T3M327471 and were allowed $3473.51. They gave the dealership a $100 deposit resulting in a down payment of $3573.51. The balance of $3222.90 was paid two days later when they picked up their new "Baby" on April 25th, 1975. That is the day Jim & Mary Anne's "Love Affair" began with this car and it lasted her entire life and well beyond. Documents included: 4-23-1975-Retail order for this car from Baber Buick 4-25-1975-Car invoice from Baber Buick Original 1975 Buick owner's manual Original Uniroyal PR 7 guide for SBR tires Original owner's manual for Stereo AM/FM/Cassette Original 1975 Buick Accessories folder Original 1975 Buick maintenance schedule folder Original 1975 Buick Consumer folder Original Warranty folder from 4-25-1975 showing 8 miles Original Baber Buick owners maintenance folio Original Wisconsin license plate application 7-2-1997. All the bills and invoice for the restoration ($40,000+) Note:After Mary Anne passed away Jim moved from Chicago, Illinois to Williams Bay,Wisconsin. Jim decided to have a full restoration completed in 1997 to preserve this car as a family heirloom and to honor the memory of his late wife. When the restoration was complete, the odometer was reset to zero. This incredible restoration is documented by over $40,000 in receipts and has resulted in what we believe is the finest car of it's type in the world today. It was restored to Buick factory standards using only OEM materials throughout and upgraded in specific areas to suit Jim's driving experiences. The restoration is supported by every receipt and document and totals in excess of $40,000. This very special car that has been loved and cherished since they day Jim & Mary Anne drove it off the lot at Baber Buick not only looks better than new...it drives and rides like a dream! A few of the features are: Strong and smooth running original 350 V-8 Smooth shifting 3/speed automatic transmission Power windows Power Convertible top Factory Air-conditioning AM/FM/Stereo radio Cruise Control And much more. We have include tons of photos but this car looks even better in person! It is by far the nicest 1975 GM mid-size convertible I have ever seen or driven...which would include the cars built by GM on the same platform...Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and of Course Buick. The car starts up immediately with out touching the accelerator pedal. It idles so smooth it is hard to hear this incredible 350-V-8, 4- barrel running. Driving this car on the highway at a steady 70mph will average 23mpg. I spent 30 minutes going over the entire exterior of the car and could not find a single ding, scratch or dent in the body. The chrome on this car is like jewelry The convertible top and rear glass window are factory correct. The top is not faded and has no tears and shows no sign of age or wear. It looks like it has never seen any rain or strong sun light. The convertible boot is as new. The interior is gorgeous, so is the trunk, engine compartment and I can not find any rust on the undercarriage. I spent 30 minutes going over the entire exterior of the car and could not find a single ding, scratch or dent in the body. The engine compartment is immaculate. The hood pad is the correct original type factory pad. This is a good indication of the type of highways and climate this car was driven . The trunk as new and all the glass perfect. All new rubber and trim. New tires and new Steel style wheels...
