Up for bid is a 1980 Chevrolet Corvette C3 Project or Drive her as she is, 350 engine, four barrel carb, headers, T-Top, and fast! Engine and transmission are in perfect working condition in my opinion, as I have no problem driving her anywhere. She is registered as an antique and I do drive her on a regular basis. There is something about hearing the lope of the cam that causes you to put your foot into the accelerator and crack a smile when you look down and realize just how fast you are going in such a short distance. She is in need of a paint job and interior makeover, the bright headlights were wired to a toggle switch so I installed a floor mounted dimmer switch in its place, A/C works but missing the tubes for the vents, although as I said before she may not be the prettiest girl at the ball, she does turn heads going down the road. There is a noise coming from the rear end when you get down on her in reverse, but not in drive, I have not taken it apart but I’m inclined to think it may be a chipped gear. I purchased the car over a year ago with the interior completely taken apart as the previous owner was preparing to restore her, I put her back together to see what had to be replaced and just been having fun driving her as is.
