Up for auction is my matching numbers 1967 Olds 442 two (2) door post coupe with “0” miles since restoration 12/10/2010, after which I moved and no longer have shop or garage space. Recent health problems have also prevented me from completing minor finishing touches to the car as follows: Bleed brakes Windshield washer pump and reservoir Wiper blade refills Rubber bumper kit for hood, doors and trunk lid Adjust parking brake cable Install the original wheels and replace tires (Redlines would look great.) Existing tires have great tread but are aged due to long storage of car. Original wheels come with car. Needs radio The restoration was frame off as shown in pics. Car has less than 64,000 original miles (documents) and was in storage for many years. Typical G.M. A-Body rust was in quarters and floor pans, all replaced with welded in units. The interior is original except headliner and carpet. Lower body chrome deleted and replaced with custom stripes, too much chrome for a muscle car. The car is matching numbers throughout with the exception of the carb (is same family but not original). A hotter than factory cam was installed during rebuild for even better performance and fuel economy. Engine was professionally rebuilt even though the cylinder walls had only .005 wear. Bored only .010 (the minimum). The new cam is a Comp Street Performance Series. Documents will be furnished for engine rebuild, resto parts, and mileage validity. Imperfections: Some minor waves in body side panels can be seen in indirect light, but are very minor. Minor repair has been made to upper left side dash pad Minor scratches in chrome of drivers door vertical post Minor dimples in rear window chrome at base.
