Here is for sale a beautiful original and documented 1979 Pontiac Trans Am Special Edition Y84 that came from my Trans Am personal collection and not a clone or a recreation as most of the cars that are for sale out there. This is one of the few nice and original Special Edition still alive with the matching numbers drivetrain components and in an excellent condition. There still are the factory markings on the engine and other places. (see photos) You can drive or show this car everywhere, it drives very fast and smooth. See the last photo taken couple days ago cruising on the Florida Turnpike at 80 miles per hour at 2650 RPM. It came from the factory with a lot of options as power steering and brakes, power windows and locks, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, deluxe interior, am-fm 8 track radio, air condition and of course t-tops. The engine compartment, trunk, paint and interior are in exeptional condition for being a 32 years old car. All the mechanical components, lights, gauges including the clock, radio and 8 track are in perfect working condition. The A/C was just service for the summer with a new compresor, evaporator, heater core, fan motor, hoses, etc. and it blows more cold air than any other TA that I own. This Special Edition Trans Am's are getting a lot of attention in the collector market with recently sales like in the last month Arizona Barrett-Jackson Auction with cars selling between 40K to 82k dollar range. Actually I was one of that buyers that purchase a TA on that auction and that is the main reason for selling this car. I bought a beautiful 1977 SE for my collection for the amount of 51,700 dollars This car is fully operational and drives very smooth and goes effortsly all the way from 50 to 120 MPH and back from 120 to 50 without any hesitation, you can drive this car daily if you want to.
