1966 Mustang, built in the San Jose plant in CA. VIN # 6R07Cxxxxxx. I am the second owner of this car. Garage kept. The original owner sold the car in 2007 and I have had it since. This is completely RUST FREE car. It has the original 289 C code engine and automatic transmission. The color is Acadian Blue. It has never been in an accident and the sheet metal is in pristine condition with NO BONDO. Pictured are the floors, trunk and frame rails and as you can see they are all solid. It has the original pollution controls since it was made in CA. It has the production tab on bolted onto the intake manifold (pictured). I have made some repairs to the car, namely a dual exhaust Flowmaster system that bolts up to the original brackets, so there are no drilled holes. The rear brake lines had to be changed to accommodate the dual exhaust. If you wanted to change back to single exhaust, you will have to change the brake lines to accommodate single exhaust. I changed the fuel pump, water temp sensor, heater box, heater cables and blower motor and transmission cooler lines. I also replaced a door hinge on the left door, and door hinge springs on both sides. Also changed were shock absorbers, 2 tires, new cap and rotor and spark plugs, and a heat riser tube going to the carburetor. There are many original parts to this car that have never been changed. The headliner near the right rear is torn and needs to be replaced. The interior chrome bezels around the speedometer are original and shows some pitting. I would also change the valve seals. There is a slight indentation in the front of the hood about the size of a half dollar. Cowls will eventually have to be repaired. The original owner tells me that the car was repainted to the original color. The original owner was a woman who bought the car in 1966, so it was definitely not abused. I have a scanned copy of the original CA title also. I will provide a scanned copy of the original title upon request. Please e-mail me with any questions.
