Vehicle Detail
Less than 75,000 miles have been driven on this clean, great-running 1992 Isuzu Rodeo 4WD wagon. It's powered by a 3.1-liter V6 that has new gaskets on the intake manifold, valve covers and a new O-ring on the distributor. Rear brakes pads were installed last fall and the front pads are in great shape. Rotors are true and the Rodeo stops perfectly straight. Starts in even the coldest Minnesota weather, and the automatic transmission shifts like new. (Yes, it has an automatic. The eBay web site would not allow that option on its pull-down menu -- so it says manual. But it's a 4-speed auto with overdrive). Package includes power steering, well-working radio, roof rack, rear-mounted spare, year-old front tires, good tread in rear, padded center console, windshield washers, new wipers and cloth upholstery that doesn't have a single tear. Rear carpet is in excellent condition and front carpet in very good condition for its age. Comes with matching winter carpet floor mats. To be sure, this SUV is a plain Jane, but that ensures there's less expensive mechanical stuff to break as it ages. It has standard crank windows and locks, and also the old-style front window vents. The 4WD control is a manual-throw lever mated with automatic hubs that were recently cleaned and lubricated. All controls work smooth. Vehicle climbs effortlessly through snow, mud or whatever you toss its way. It's built very tough for a small SUV. A couple of things don't work: the dashlight dimmer, rear window defroster and rear window shocks. But the dash lights are bright and fine, the rear window seldom frosts up and the window shocks are available at any parts store for about $30. ( I prop up the glass with my windshield scraper). You'll be very pleased with this clean, great-performing Rodeo.
