Up for auction today is pretty good old work truck.I bought this truck from a freind of mine who bought it from the original owner about five years ago.I bought it from him about three years ago.When I bought it from him he said it only had 23,000 miles on it and that the old man he bought it from said the miles were acurate and they hardley ever drove it in the time they owned it from new.The old man told Gary that because it was a stick that none of his lazy family members would drive it.In the time I have owned it I have replaced both of the front Brake Calipers on it with new ones because the original ones were trying to freeze up do to sitting so much of its life.The shocks are new all of the way around.I have had both sets of Ball Joints replaced on the front end and a comlpete alignment done on it about a year ago.I had the Starter rebuilt when I first got it.I repalced all belts and hoses,thermostat,housing and new gasket.and every gasket on engine I could to keep it from having any oil leaksThe Fuel Pump,Starter Sylinoid,Distributer Cap, Spark Plug Wires and Battery were all replaced by my freind Gary right before I bought it from him.The drivers door and hood are different colors than the rest of the truck.The hood was bent at the hood spring and the door had a big dent in it and I got a good deal on the rust free door I instaled..I had originally planned on repainting this whole truck one color and keeping it for my son to start driving in.The truck runs out great.It never fails to fire right up and take me where I have to go.We have used it mostly to fix up our old house with.I have only put 15,000 miles on it in three years.The primary reason for the low miles is that we use my VW Jetta Diesel or the wifes Neon to get back and fourth to work in because they are so much more fuel efficient.The reason I have specied it as a work truck is because that it would be great for someone that didn,t drive it fifty miles a day round trip to work because it only does between fifteen and eighteen miles to the gallon.It has a decent sounding CD-Player in it with Polk door speakers.All four tires are in decent used shape and should easily get the truck around another 10,000 miles.If you have any further questions on this clean old truck feel free to write me on here and I will do my best to get back to you in a timely matter.Potential bidders can feel free to come and look the truck over and drive it at my home in Taylorsville Indiana before bidding.Thanks for your interest ..Marc
