Vehicle Detail
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by eliminating the overhead expenses that the big dealers pass down to you. I personally test drive each car so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. My description is my honest opinion of each car based completely on my test drive. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic and do not inspect any vehicle further than the scope of my test drive. Questions about any of my cars as well as personal inspections are welcomed and encouraged. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Today it is my pleasure to offer this rare 1995 Acura Integra GS-R for a NO RESERVE auction. These cars are a blast to drive. This one is finished in black with black interior. I would rate the exterior of this car below average. There is a very small amount of the usual Honda rust at the rear fenders...not bad at all. The clear coat is thinning/chipping on the hood, roof and deck lid which is typical of Hondas of this era. On the drivers door, there is a scrape (for lack of a better word). It looks like something may have backed into it. Please see all photos. Overall it's not a bad looking car...it's just a little rough. A carbon fiber hood would fix the biggest problem. The roof and the scrape on the door aren't that noticable. The rest of the paint shines very well. The glass is all in tact. The tires all have plenty of tread left on them. These cars are getting very hard to find with low miles. The interior of this Integra is in excellent condition. It looks and smells very clean with no major defects or signs of wear. The power windows, locks and sunroof all work as they should. The stereo is probably stock with a Sony head unit. It sounds okay...nothing great. The climate control works as it should and the A/C is ice cold. There is a complete set of factory Acura floor mats in the trunk. It looks like the trunk is also wired up for a CD changer ( I assume a Sony). Overall, the interior of this Integra is in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The seats are firm and supportive. There is a remote for an aftermarket alarm but nothing happens when you press the button. Maybe it needs a battery...maybe it has been disabled. The siren is still in the engine bay but I didn't look to see if the master computer is still hooked up. Mechanically, this Acura is in excellent condition. The 1.8L VTEC engine starts right up and runs smoothly. During my test drive, the engine held proper operating temperature. The suspension and steering feel nice and tight. The brakes are okay for normal driving but vibrate a little under hard braking at high speeds. The brakes may need to be replaced. The clutch feels great. It engages smoothly and does not slip. The close ratio transmission shifts smoothly just like it should. The B18C is one of my favorite engines of all time. It took the variable valve lift technology from the B16 and D16 engines and added variable length intake runners which give it that fantastic sound from 5,800 rpms to its 8,000 rpm red line once the plenum opens. The B16 was, I believe, the first production engine to make 100hp per liter of displacement and this engine is right there with just under 180 hp from 1.8 Liters. This car has just 146k miles and the engine still makes tons of power. This engine is very potent and easily tuned to make amazing numbers yet still be completely reliable and get great fuel economy. Like I said, one of my favorite engines. Please bid with confidence. These Vtec Integras are getting harder and harder to find. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
