1977 BMW R100RS, best airhead ever, first year for the model, first wind-tunnel designed motorcycle Fairing I would rate this bike as a very clean rider but not a show bike 70,111 miles, has the blue anodized brake calipers, snowflake wheels and is a 40mm bike ("big piper") bike has been repainted black in the past, paint is in fair condition price includes BOTH the solo seat and the dual seat with the grab rails (both seats in great shape) I have rebuilt the top end 2,000 miles ago with new valves, springs, seals rings and gaskets. Bike has a BMW accessory power socket. The carbs were rebuilt with all new brass, diaphrams and gaskets. In 1977, all motorcycles came with switches to turn on and off the lights. This bike has the factory BMW luggage, one key works the luggage, seat lock and the ignition. the gas cap lock does not work but the cap is fine. Good Metzler tires front and rear. petcocks are good and don't leak clock works, voltmeter doesn't, good fork seals rear drive splines are in great shape last major service in December 2010, including BMW Inspection II, new cables, fuel lines, just oil changes since then receipts in hand back to 2009 It has the OEM tool kit, air pump and factory service manual clean CA title in hand bike is in Camarillo, CA (93012) I would prefer to meet you to go over the bike as you pick it up.
