I bought this old Ford in May of 2009 to use as a trash hauler and utility truck for a project I was working on. It had around 348,000 miles on it when I bought it and it has been a great truck. Drives smooth, shifts good, runs good and has been very reliable. Engine is listed as a 4.6 liter V8 Triton, as indicated by the vin #. It is an old truck with very high miles so obviously I can't give any type of guarantee of future performance. Truck is pretty clean inside with some wear on the door panels condusive with use for 14 years. Before I got the truck it was used as a delivery truck for diesel parts from the Sacramento area to the San Francisco Bay area. Mostly freeway miles. The bed was painted at some time and the quality of the work is not great, but it is clean. The color and texture is slightly different and there are a few dents and dings here and there on the bed and some minor dings and light scratches on the rest of the truck, in a few places. The front of the bed under the bedliner is dented in and there is a dent on the cab behind passenger seat. Tires are good, they have about 15,000 miles on them as I got them when I bought the truck. Overall the truck is in good condition, has been very reliable. The a/c compressor went out last September, I found a replacement on ebay for $100, but never got around to ordering and fixing it. When I bought the truck the check engine light was on, I had it serviced and smogged in California and a week later the light came on again. I didn't take it in again because the truck ran fine and still does. The light is still on so if you live in an area where you need to smog your vehicles that is a consideration. Interior is green and gray with a newly recovered seat. I also put in a new battery last month. Reserve is $1,000 for quick sale. I figure the truck is probably worth a couple thousand to someone mildly handy who can put in an A/C compressor...so come get a good deal! No warrantee, truck sold as is.
