Up for auction is this very clean 2002 Chevrolet Impala Police Sedan. The vehicle saw most of it's life with a Federal Agency as a marked patrol unit. My Local Volunteer Fire Department purchased this vehicle sometime in 2006-2007 and have had it in service as a Chief Officers vehicle every since. This vehicle runs and drives great. I would never guess the mileage if I didn't see it myself. The interior (typical blue) has been well taken care of. No major cuts or tears on the interior. Just normal wear from public safety use. The exterior is standard white. Normal dings here and there from front line use. The usual lightbar hole(plugged) on the roof and (2) antenna bases on the trunk. The tires are in great shape. I would say near new. I have driven this car back and forth from a number of Chiefs shows and would drive it again without hesitation. The only mechanical issue I have to note is that the last time the vehicle went for emissions inspection here in Chattanooga, it did not pass. At that time the vehicle was retired from active duty. At this time there are no lights on in the instrument panel to note any troubles. I have been authorized by my Fire Department to sell this vehicle.
