Up for auction is my 1986 Oldsmobile 442. I've had this car since 2003 and have taken great care of it. I'm selling because I'm moving across country and would prefer that someone who loves oldsmobiles as much as I do have the car. After pumping the gas a bit the car starts right up. Inspected til june 11.The car is in overall good shape. It's black with gray interior. 141k.T-TOPs The motor was redone this past summer and runs well. The carb was also rebuilt. I just had a new battery and brake line installed. The tranny shifts nice and it also has a mild shift kit, headers and true dual exhaust. It may need one tire in the near future but the rest are in good shape as I haven't driven the car much in the last few years due to being abroad. It was repainted in 2006.The paint is still in good shape but it does have some light scratches here and there. The car has almost no rust save for a few spots where the paint is bubbling a bit you can see in the pictures. The interior is in decent shape except for the center console which fell when I had it taken out one day.I also replaced the headliner.The driver side window stopped working this summer and the weather stripping for the t tops should be replaced. They only leak when its pouring outside. One very important thing with these cars is the condition of the frame.I painted the bottom of the car black to make it look more like a GN but repainting it should be no problem.The wheels are in good shape with only minor amounts of rust. The frame is rock solid in this car. Please excuse the photos, the car looks better in person whenit is clean. I have a dirt driveway so it's hard to keep it clean. A lot of money has been invested in the car resently in the motor. Bidding will start at $999 with a reserve, I assure you it's not a ridiculous amount. It's not the prettiest but it has a lot of new stuff,battery,fuel pump, rebuilt carb,belts and the motor itself was redone. Over $1300 went under the hood to get the motor running well. Oil is clean.
