A rare 1979 pontiac grand am one of only 4021 made. This one is powered by a 455 ci big block with an automatic trans. The engine was built for the car by the previous owner and i have all the paperwork to show what has been done to it. I installed an edlelbrock 650 and alluminum intake. The trans has a shift kit so you can shift the gears manualy for when you want to race. This car is perfect for someone who wants to go to shows or the track. There is vary little rust on the car just a little around the windows and on the side pipes nothin major. The 4'' hooker side pipes are functional and make that big block sound great. The original dual exhaust is still mounted on the car but not functional is there if you want to rmove the side pipes. The interior has a few cracks on the corners of the dash. The leather seats are in perfect condition. The car has been sitting in storage for about five years, it has been started regularly and does run. The only problem is when i put it into gear the car wants to stall out unless you put the gas to the floor. I was told its probably a clogged fuel filter or bad gas in the lines. I took the car to the track once and i ran mid to low 14s on cold street tires and that was just barely opening it up. It has the potential to go much much faster.
