If you need to arrange for a Transporter you must work out all details & get your quotes my zip is 90808 & PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE AUCTION & Please ask ALL Questions "BEFORE YOU BID". Thank You. ******(there are Zillions of Transporter Co's or Please try A-Z Affordable Transporters 1(800) 262-0008) as they are Local to So. Calif & will get this picked up & on it's way Home to You Fast !** If you live Over Seas I will deliver this Wonderful car FREE to any Int. Shipper in the Los Angeles Calif. Harbor Area! Even though it Looks a bit like a $150,000.00 + Racing Shelby Mustang GT 500 EXP / ELEANOR etc Car & has mach of the Racing Shelby Fiberglass style body panels of a up to $250,000.00 (1967 GT 500 Shelby Conv,) I have priced this car down to where not everyone ..But, I feel Most people that have been saving for a Great Fun car like this can still comfortably Financially get into this Wonderful Car ! (Reserve is well under 1/10th the above amount !.... & well under what many new Econo etc korean cars sell for Out the Door...that will be worth about zip (almost nothing) in a few short years! If you are Wondering why this MAGNIFICENT Rides looks so Great ...It is because it has almost all the same SHELBY Fiberglass style body work as you would find on a Super Rare 1967 GT 500 Convertible (These can sell for up to about $250,000.00) & the Shelby GT 500 & Shelby Convertibles are said to be the very most rare SHELBY Mustangs of all as I think only about 8 GT 500 Convertibles were made & only 4 GT 500 EXP Coupes were ever made (depending on which book you read). Also, I opted for the Larger More Aggressive SHELBY ELANOR Side Scopes as the smaller SHELBY GT 500's to my eye look a little wimpier. I personally Prefer a Hard Top Mustang Coupe of a Mustang fastback or a Convertible as they have Far Better Visibility, Are Far Quieter, & feel like they handle Better when Pushed Very Hard into a Corner (without any "added on" External "roll cages" and or other "Add on" chassis stiffeners.) Mustang Convertibles particularly like all convertibles have no where near the chassis stiffness of a Hard Top Coupe like this...Out here in the Real World. I believe 1967 is The Same Year Mustang that they built the ELEANOR Movie Mustangs from in the Nicolas Cage version of the "GONE in 60 Seconds" Movie ! Also, in 1969 Mustangs Set over 300 World Records (with Mickey Thompsons' help) ! This is a Great Find as it still has it's Original Small Block FORD V8. Since we started restoring his Beauty The engines Upper end (Heads etc) were Re-Machined & Completely Rebuilt and the engine was extensively Upgraded with a Eldebrock Alloy "Hi Performance" Four Barrel Alloy intake and a Newly Re-manufactured HOLLEY Four Barrel Carb & a brand New SHELBY COBRA style oval Air Cleaner etc. all of the engines Machine work was done by "L & R" Engine Machine Shop that has Machined & or Built Many Engines for "CHIP FOOSE" They're Located Right Here in Southern California. This also has Fords Wonderful (Bullet Proof) C-4 Cruise-A Matic Automatic Trans, it left the factory with Both Original Factory "POWER STEERING" & "POWER BRAKES" (Which are fairly Rare in these Early Classic 64-67 Mustangs ! This last couple of years we have been Restoring this Beauty (as listed & described below) & have added Many 1967 SHELBY GT 350 & SHELBY GT 500 & ELEANOR Body panel Upgrades ! This Wonderful Car was manufactured right here in "Sunny" San Jose, California & has Resided mainly in Southern California the Majority of it's life. Please see her California DMV Blue Plates (Blue Plates were first seen here in California in 1970). I have a set of "Custom Made" (non dmv items) California style Black Plates which can be used for CLASSIC Car Shows & Meets. (Please click on auctions picture of License plate sets) When I purchased this car I looked this car all over and under and it is one of the straighter Classic Mustangs I have owned & is Definitely one of the straighter & more relatively Rust free 1960's Mustangs I have seen in years ! (Which is saying something as I have worked for Ford as an Engineer in the later 1960's & have restored & owned Many Mustangs over the past 4 decades !) My Mechanic and I worked very hard to get all of the Original style SHELBY GT 500 Fiberglass racing Grill /Nose, hood rear trunk lid front and rear fender extenders to fit as well as possible as even the real deal early SHELBYs fiberglass parts had some fit issues ...I think most anyone would give a "Standing Ovation" as to how nice most everything fits here... So I can tell you... Though not a Museum piece it is Very Beautiful & "This is indeed a Very Rare & Wonderful Find and it has Great Bones" ! Please Note * * "California is the Home of the Most "Rust Free", Most Desirable, & Very Best Preserved Classic cars that money can buy" ! Temperatures in our area typically run a Very stable & mild 50 lows thru high 70's, the Greater Majority (nearly all) of the year. Typically Humidity here is about ~Zip as well as ~Zip rainfall is Many years almost Non-Existent (last Dec. may be the exception). Our Amazing Southern California Weather here... explains why cars from this area are the Most "Rust Free" Most Pampered Classic Automobiles Money can buy & typically bring a 50% to 100% Price or More Premium for just that reason !!!) <
