Up for bids we have this very nice, RUST FREE, 2005 GMC 3500 4x4 truck. It is equipped with the 8.1 Vortec and the Allison automatic transmission. It also has the factory limited slip G80 rear axle. If you have something to pull, this truck will get it done. And it will do it in comfort. Sure, it's not a Duramax, but it doesn't cost like a Duramax either. (You're also not having to maintain a high $$$ Diesel). This is the last of the original big blocks before GM went to the LS style engine. I personally like these better because they are easier and less expensive to work on. Coupled to the Allison transmission, this is a hard driveline combination to beat. Especially at this price. The interior of this truck looks like new. The seats have no tears or stains. Everything on this truck functions correctly. And I mean Everything. The doors open and close smoothly, the power windows operate correctly, the power locks work as well. All the gauges work correctly, there are no Check engine lights on, no warning lights on of any kind. The heater and air conditioning work well, the steering is tight, the brakes stop well, no pulling or pulsating. The 4x4 high and low range both work correctly. The transmision shifts through all the gears exactly as it should, and there is a tow/ haul button to lock out overdrive. The engine runs smoothly, no drips, ticks, knocks, smoke,or strange noises of any kind. This is an unbelieveably nice running and driving truck. The new owner is going to have a big smile on their face. The miles are high, but don't let that fool you. It runs and drives nicer than most trucks I've seen with only a quarter of these miles. The tires are in fair to good condition. They have been rotated and the rear duals are slightly cupped from being run in the front. Nothing serious. All the glass is good. All the electrical items work. The power mirrors even work with the little red arrow inside for turning. All in all, this is one nice, heavy duty truck that is going to be a bargain for someone. As you can imagine, with any used vehicle, it is nearly impossible to cover every last square inch in detail with this brief description. There are many different companies that specialize in doing nothing but that. They generally charge between $100-175 and may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection offered, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most vehicles are generally purchased by us at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We sell these vehicles at FAR below any dealer retail prices. This gives you room for any repairs that you see fit. They have not undergone ANY type of inspections/ or tests for ANYTHING. This includes emmissions and safety inspections. All vehicles that we purchase and offer for resale have clear Title, in our possesion. We do NOT knowingly deal in any vehicles with salvage title histories, period. The State of Colorado automatically exempts the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That doesn't indicate that the mileage is unknown, or that it has been tampered with. It simply means they (The State), are no longer keeping track of mileage after that. Please keep in mind mileage may increase slightly from local customers inspecting and taking test drives.
