Vehicle Detail

Up for consideration is a 1930 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan rat rod project. The body has some rust but not bad for its age. The body has been chopped and the windshield opening is about the size of a dollar bill on end. Also the body is not mounted on the frame it is simply sitting on the frame for storage/picture taking. The passenger side door is chopped and the drivers door still needs chopped but not a big deal since its all straight cuts. The frame is a 1930 model a tudor with a 12" kick up in the rear. The rear suspension is all new and near complete but still needs shocks (see pics). The rear end is a 9" ford out of a 1980 ford truck. The front end I think is a stock model a straight axle and I have been told the front brakes are 40 ford but I'm not 100% on that. The engine is a 283 Chevy V8 out of a 1965 Impala. It has been completely rebuilt. Block cleaned, new freeze plugs, new cam bearings, cylinders honed, crank cleaned and polished, rods cleaned and polished, new crane camshaft, new lifters, sealed power rings, new hastings timing chain set, heads were cleaned and shot blasted, heads have new hardened exhaust seats, new bronze guides, new sealed power valve seals, new valve spring retainers, new felpro gaskets throughout, new federal mogule bearings. I have some old parts from the engine before the rebuild like the starter, 2 barrel carb and so on. The transmission is a 1965 powerglide from the same 1965 Impala as the engine. The transmission was shifting just fine when pulled as is supose to only have around 60,000 on a rebuild. I also have the torque converter. I was going to change the fluid and filter and put it in the the car and see what happens. This vehicle does not have a title but I will give a bill of sale. If you have any questions just ask. I have had this car for 2 years and my brother in law had it for 2 to 3 years before me. All of the frame and body work were done when my brother in law owned it so if you have questions I can try to get answers. He lives in another state and works 3rd shift so getting specific answers may take a day or so. As you can see this is an excellent start that wont take a ton of cash to finish. I will respond to all questions in the evenings unless I get time during the day. If you prefer to talk over typing no problem just email me and I will send you my cell phone number. Attention winning bidder!!!! Please plan on picking this up in person I'm not interested in messing with shipping. Contact me before bidding if you cannot have this picked up within 30 days. Full payment is required within 10 days of auction or when picked up if sooner. I will not sell to bidders outside the United States. I reserve the right to end this auction early. I reserve the right to cancell bids if you have zero or negative feedback. Final transaction at pickup will happen in person at my bank so the funds can be verified. This way if you try to scam me the bank and police can deal with you and I can go home.
