1998 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LIMITED V8 FULL TIME 4 WHEEL DRIVE! 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited! I bought this truck in 2007 with 139,902 miles on her. She starts up every time and runs and drives great! The transmission feels like it is starting to slip (my friends who work on cars say that it is probably a filter in the trans that needs replacement). It is due for an oil change. The interior is in great condition except for the tear in the driver seat and the seat heaters don't work (was like that when I bought it). The only damage to the outside, besides scratches and peeling clear coat, is I hit a deer which dented the fender, broke part of the plastic on the bumper, and broke light covers (lights still work). You'll notice that it will need new tires too. During this last cold snap that we had, I pressed the down button for the window and the window shattered. That is why there is plastic over the window. The sunroof works good, however, the lining on the ceiling started coming down this year. The engine is very clean and have not had any major repairs.
