Vehicle Detail

Wow!!! So I am listing this van a THIRD time due to two non paying bidders in a row. Please, please, please...only bid if you will follow through on your bid. Let's hope the third time is a charm. The concept is easy...you bid, then pay if you win. This van is being relisted due to a non paying bidder from California. Please bid only if you will stand behind your bid. Ebay is not a game...people support their families by conducting business here. Let's try this again... Hello and thanks for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by cutting out the expense of the fancy lot, salesmens commission and all the other bull you end up paying for. I personally test drive each vehicle so I can tell you first hand how each one looks, runs and drives. My descriptions are my honest opinion of the condition of this vehicle. The information contained within this listing is true and correct to the best of my knowledge but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. Specific questions and personal inspections are welcomed and encouraged. I am happy to answer any question EXCEPT "do you have a buy it now price". In the interest of fairness, I will not end auctions early. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2001 Chrysler Voyager. This van comes to us in a dark blue finish. The body of this van is in average condition at best. These vans are known to rust out on the rockers and rear quarters. I didn't see any ot the typical rust issues but there is some damage present at the front passneger door/fender which catches when you open that door. There is some rust where the door hits the fender but that's all I could find. The rest of the body isn't bad. It could use waxed to look really good. The interior of this van is okay. I do have the rear seats (see photos). I took them out to transport a corner cupboard and didn't get them back in yet. This van is the basic model so the windows and locks are manual. It is equipped with air conditioning but I think that's about it. There are dual sliding doors which are nice for loading and unloading. The stereo has been upgraded to an Alpine CD player. It looks like the speakers have been upgraded and there appears to be wires already ran to the back for a subwoofer if you choose to go that route. Mechanically, this van is a mixed bag. The V6 engine starts up and seems to run well. It makes good power and doesn't appear to have any leaks. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts just like it should. There is no slipping in the transmission. I've sold a few of these vans and this is actually the strongest runner I've had. It rockets down the highway at 80+ without braking a sweat. It does need some attention. The engine will warm up fine sitting still but when driving at a decent speed, the engine won't stay warm. I've never came accross this before. The front brakes will need replaced as there is noticable vibration under moderate to heavy braking. The suspension up front is also noticably loose going over bumps. I am not very familiar with how these vans are set up but I would guess that new ball joints and tie rod ends would make the front end solid again. The brakes are a matter of pads and rotors. The thing with the engine not keeping warm beats me. Like I said, I am not a mechanic. I bought this van for a friend who was looking for a cheap delivery vehicle for his business. I can't get him to return my calls so it's getting sold. I can't hold on to it forever. With a few hundred dollars worth of work, it could be a very nice van. It could be used as-is to haul stuff around, too. I've driven it on several occasions and it always starts right up and drives me wherever I want to go. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
