We at Motorcars of Hollywood MDR are proud to bring to market this 1958 Plymouth Belvedere convertible. This Nevada car is a true "survivor" the car runs and drives as good as or better than it looks. Everything on the car works including the clock. The car comes with the following factory options, power top, power steering, power assisted hydraulic drum brakes, back up lights, electric clock, heater- defroster, dual rear view mirrors, very rare bumper wing tips, original radio with dual rear deck antennas, 3 speed "push button" Torque-Flite automatic transmission coupled to a 350 C. I. V8 Golden Commando rated at 305 H.P. and last but not least this is a very rare "Carter AFB" Competition series dual quad car. This option was only available for one year and that was in 1958. This fine example is finished in period correct Sunflower Yellow with Cream and Gray cloth inserts, chrome and interior is in excellent condition. This car has been in an Automobile Museum for most of its life, the miles seem to be true due to the fact that the car sat for a long period of time on display, however we cannot guarantee them because the car has a 5 digit odometer. The car is very clean and appears to be rust free. From our research, everything on this car is apparently as it was built with all numbers matching. While a total of 9,941 of these convertibles were produced, few remain today and even fewer are equipped and presented as this fine example. Please see our other auctions.
