This beautiful 560 SL has a beautiful Light Ivory high gloss exterior and is matched well with a gorgeous Palomino interior. The car is in excellent condition. I have seen a lot of these cars and this is one of the nicest 560 SL’s I have ever seen. The car is absolutely magnificent to look at and definitely stands out where ever you go; I have seen newer cars with more signs of wear and usage than this car. This amazing car has been sheltered and well cared in Southern California, While It was not driven regularly the owners made sure to start and warm the car up at least once a week in order to keep all systems in good physical shape, the previous owner would not drive the car in conditions he felt would harm this classic motor car. The car is accident and rust free and all original. The vibrant Palomino interior accents the Light Ivory exterior absolutely beautifully. The dash and The Burl Wood accents are in beautiful condition without the typical cracking or fading expected for its age. The door panels and all the carpets including the trunk carpet are exceptionally well preserved. Mechanically the car is just as nice as the exterior if not even nicer with all systems functioning flawlessly starting with the factory air conditioning, The car always starts and idles very quietly and smoothly, stays nice and cool, has excellent oil pressure and does not smoke, at times it’s hard to tell if the car is running. When needed or desired, the car can also be driven quickly; once the accelerator is pushed the engine truly comes to life revealing its heritage and true sports car nature. There are no visible leaks or any other signs of neglect or abuse. The transmission, brakes and suspension feel just as nice. The car is a true joy to drive and everything looks feels and even smells the way a well maintained and respected Mercedes should. The car is very solid and stable on the road and the suspension and brakes bring this car through curves and to a full stand still in no time flat. This car feels solid with no or minimal body flex. Without a doubt the 560 SL is one of the most solid and secure Roadsters cars ever produced. The car is well equipped; it even comes with Anti Lock Braking System (ABS).
