'85 FORD F150 XLT LWB 4X4 Here is a super sharp '85 Ford F150 XLT LWB 4X4 pickup truck with many new parts just recently installed which include... Four brand new Remington Mud Brute 32x11.50R15LT tires, dual exhausts w/new mufflers & 3" chrome tips (no catalytic convertors), CarQuest battery, starter, starter solenoid, ignition switch, oil change & filter, air filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, flywheel ring gear, clutch release bearing assembly & spring, throw-out bearing, grease and brake master cylinder. This truck definitely has the right stuff with a strong four speed manual transmission w/bulldog paired up with an great running 302 c.u./5.0L V8 engine and a Holley four barrel carb. Some other great features include a manual shift high/low four wheel drive with lock-in/lock-out hubs, reese hitch/tow package, JVC AM/FM CD player w/JVC speakers (CD player comes on but no sound), Harley Davidson headliner, tinted windows, aluminum wheels, working emergency brake, front power disc brakes w/rear drum and power steering. The clutch is strong and works great. It catches close from the floor when letting off the pedal. It appears this is a factory A/C truck with condensor and evaporator still intact, but the pump and hoses are missing. The heater/fan/controls work great. It has a working overhead dome light/map lights, factory gauges with rpm gauge (gas gauge is not working), dual gas tanks, cab lights, fiberglass cab visor, chrome vent visors, chrome mirrors, chrome bumpers and factory digital working clock/date. There are a few minor details I would like to point out such as...The dash speaker cover is cracked and has a hole in it and there's two or three other small cracks on the dash. There's a little surface rust at the bottom of the doors and on the rear passenger side of the bed is some bubbling and there's one small bubble on the driver side bed. I might have missed a spec or two, but there's nothing major at all. There's a few places where the paint is chipped with numerous paint touch-up spots and some not touched up. It has a small ding at the very front of the hood and the oval Ford emblem on the grill is missing. The paint is not new by any means, but still looks pretty good. All the lights, turn signals, dash lights, interior lights, even the cargo light works fine and so does the horn and wipers as well. It had a bedliner in it, but it has been removed. I had in mind to do a spray-in liner coating but the weather has just been to bad. This truck is super solid with no rust seen anywhere underneath. Overall this is a very good, very reliable, solid '85 Ford F150 4x4 pickup truck that I think is going to make someone very happy! It starts, runs, shifts, drives, brakes, 4x4's and does everything else like it should with no complaints.
