Vehicle Detail
Thanks for looking. This auction is for a 1989 Mustang GT Convertilbe. The car itself has 117,000 miles on it, but the motor and trans have less than 100 miles. I took this car in on trade for a 96 mystic cobra that i had for sale. The guy wanted my car, and the only way his wife would let him buy it is if he got rid of the convertible. So here it sits in my garage. The car had been sitting in that gentlemans pole barn for over 2 years without being driven. After a brand new battery was put in ($77) the car fired right up, and I drove it 35 miles to my house. I am not really into the fox body mustangs, but took it to make the deal happen with my cobra. I will list as much as I know about the car......please keep in mind that the car is 22 years old. The Good: Car has a freshly rebuilt motor and trans (original to the car) with less than 100 miles on it. I am told that it has a mild cam in it, but cannot verify that. It has 4 matching Goodyear tires on it with lots of tread left. The factory turbine wheels on it are super clean and don't have any curb rash. The car has been painted at some point, so with a good wheel and wax should look very nice Has an aftermarket fiberglass hood There is another tail light in the trunk to replace the chipped one that is on the car. The car has a brand new battery ($77), starts right up, and runs great! The Bad: The car needs a top, it is not the original top, the original top was white. It does not leak that I can see, but it has a patch on it above the passengers side. The car needs the seats recovered. It has the Ford white leather seats, which never held up well. I have seen complete kits listed here on ebay. The radio doesnt seem to work. The guy I got it from started to take the seats out to have them recovered, so they are not bolted in at this time. As you can see from the carfax the vehicle was in Florida most of it's life, and has never seen a Michigan winter. Feel free to call me on my cell at anytime, I reserve the right to cancel the aution at anytime, as it is for sale localy for $4500. my cell number is 586-610-3434 Thanks and good luck! ******RELISTED DUE TO A SCAM ******** GUY WHO CLICKED "BUY IT NOW" TRIED TO GET THE CAR THROUGH A SCAM*****
