Up for sale is a 1984 AMC Eagle. This is your chance to own a piece of American history. I am the second owner of this car and it shows with only 127,046 original miles on the car. There is not a speck of rust on the body. Original Colorado car. Everything works on the car from rear de-frost to the cruise control. All gauges including the clock work. The 4 wheel drive works as it should. Car starts right up every time. All of the maintenance has been performed regularly and regular service has been performed within the last 300 miles. This service included oil change, Front and rear differential fluid service and new rear pinion seal, new check valves throughout the 4 wheel drive system and various vacuum lines that seemed weathered were replaced, Transmission filter and fluid change, transfer case fluid serviced. New fuel filter and air filter. new ignition solenoid, new spark plugs, cap and rotor, and spark plug wires, a new catalytic converter has also been installed. Carburetor was just completely re-built with new stepper motor (common problem with Eagles), new lower radiator hose, battery is still under warranty, new contour wiper blades (rear wiper works as well as sprayer). Just replaced the timing chain and cover gasket. New radius arm bushings. The rear main seal was just replaced (very timely procedure), coolant flushed. On the inside an aftermarket Kenwood CD player has been installed along with 4 aftermarket speakers (sounds much better). The transmission shifts very smoothly. The interior is very clean apart from two rips in the drivers seat (pictured). Tilt column, The dash is not cracked or sun faded. The carpet and headliner are in good shape. It comes with the original owners manual and warranty information. The car has obviously been taking good care of. The windshield is cracked but all of the other glass is good. The power locks work with the exception of the drivers (you can feel it trying, might just have to lube up the motor, never tried). A few minor dings in the driver's door, one in the passenger and 2 in the front fenders. None of them is very noticeable. The grill has a hole in the top right corner (shown in pictures). Paint shows very well for its age. I even have the original rear trunk area cover and mat. This car will take you anywhere you want. It could probably use an alignment but its not too bad currently. There is an oil leak which looks to be out of the valve cover ( Eagles had plastic valve covers which all had problems leaking) a metal valve cover can be found on Jeeps in the junk yard (i just never got around to changing it).
