Vehicle Detail

Thanks for looking. This auction is for a 1999 Pontiac Trans Am. It is in overall very nice condition. It is bright red in color, and has a near perfect black leather interior. That being said the car does need a little work to be perfect....and the price reflects that. I took the car in on trade with another vehicle towards a cobra that I had for sale, so I have not had the car long. Here is what I know about the car. The good: VERY CLEAN!!!! Near new tires LS1 V8 that sounds great Black leather interior is like new, and the car is VERY clean (you would think it has less than half the miles it does if you saw it in person) Has the Monsoon single CD player in the dash, with the optional 12 disc factory CD changer in the trunk All power options work perfect. Head lights both flip up and down without issues Car has a light tint all the way around T-Tops are solid as a rock and dont leak or rattle (even at 90mph on the freeway) The Bad: The drivers side rear quarter panel needs to be bumped and painted, as does the rear bumper The car sort of hesitates if you press the throttle more than 1/3 of the way down There is a crack that had been repaired about an inch or so long on the drivers door (not sure if it showed up in the pics) There is a small stone chip that has some surface rust right at the tip of the hood where it comes to a point, about the size of a pencil eraser, maybe a little smaller (not sure if that showed up in the pictures either) The ABS light, and the TRAC light are on I took the car to a mechanic who said the car needed a coil pack and 1 rear ABS sensor to be perfect mechanically I had a body guy look at the car who said it would be between $400-500 to fix the rear quarter and bumper If I were keeping the car I would not even fix the body (not bad at all in my opinion) and would only replace the coil pack and ABS sensor, either way your repairs to make the car perfect should be $500-700. I would not hesitate to jump in the car and drive it to California, as I drove it home about 75 miles and it never missed a beat. Call me at anytime to dicuss further 586-610-3434...... I have a clean clear title in hand with no lein on it. I have had a ton of questions and calls on this car......let me try to answer some of them on here... Q: IS THE CAR PERFECT? A: PLEASE READ THE ABOVE DESCRIPTION! Q: DOES THE CAR RUN PERFECT? A: PLEASE READ THE ABOVE DESCRIPTION! Q: I HAVE DONE SOME RESEARCH AND MY BODY GUY/MECHANIC TOLD ME IT WOULD BE $1000 TO FIX WOULD YOU TAKE $3200/$3500/ETC. A: MY CREDIT UNION SAID THEY WOULD LOAN $8500 ON THE CAR, SO I THINK AT $4149 I AM WAY UNDER BOOK HERE, AND WITH OVER 35 PEOPLE WATCHING THE CAR I DON'T THINK I WOULD HAVE TO TAKE LESS. THIS SHOULD BE THE CHEAPEST LS1 CAR YOU CAN FIND IN THIS CONDITION.......IT IS VERY NICE!!!!!!
