My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by buying direct and cutting out the expense of the fancy lot and salesmens commission. I personally test drive each car so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. My descriptions are my honest opinion of each car based on my test drive. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. Questions, along with personal inspections are welcomed and encouraged. I am happy to answer any questions EXCEPT ones asking me to sell outside of ebay. In the interest of fairness, I let every auction run its full time. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the winning bid of each auction. Today I am pleased to offer a very clean 2000 Ford Explorer XLS for a NO RESERVE auction. This Explorer is finished in a medium blue metallic over gray interior. The outside of this truck shows very well. I didn't even get to wash it for the photos here. This is exactly how clean it was traded! There are no major dents or scratches and the paint shines well all around. There is some minor rust beginning on the bottom of each of the rear doors which is very common with these. The exterior of this truck is in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION. The tires are matching and all have good tread left on them. All the glass is in tact. This truck will look great in anyones driveway. The interior of this Explorer is in excellent condition. The seats are very clean and show no rips, stains or wear. The carpets and headliner are also in great condition. As with most Explorers of this generation, the center arm rest is broken. All of the electronics appear to be in proper working order. The climate control works as it should. The stereo is the factory AM/FM with cassette and CD in dash and sounds great. This Explorer also has an aftermarket entertainment system for the rear passengers. There is a flip down TV screen for the back seat passengers. There is a VCR installed behind the left rear seat. I think it cold easily be upgraded to a DVD player if you choose. I don't know exactly how the system works but the screen powers up so it should all be working. This Explorer comes with a full set of original manuals in there original booklet. You will even find the original window sticker with the manuals. The interior is in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION. Mechanically, this Explorer is very strong. The 4.0L engine starts right up and idles smoothly. It makes good power and shows no leaks. The power steering pump is making a little whining noise. I checked the fluid and it was full so the pump may need replaced at some point. It may last years, it may last months, it may last weeks...I don't know. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts like it should. The 4WD system is operated with a switch on the dash. In normal mode, it's in automatic...more like AWD. If desired, one can select permanent 4WD in high or low range. During my test drive, the engine held proper temperature and proper oil pressure. It drives strait down the road with no pulling or shaking. The suspension and steering feel tight. The brakes stop the truck well and didn't show any pulsation or noise.
