This is a bmw 540I that runs and drives excellent. The vehicle has some cosmetic blemishes on the exterior and interior. This vehicle has power steering,power seats with headrest,navigation,dual climate control,memory seats with controler on drivers door,sunroof,tinted rear glass and rear doors,rear glass sunshade,cruise,Most of these parts this car needs can be purchased rather cheap off of ebay and there are plenty I just dont have the money to finish putting into this car I originally purchased it to make a m5 clone but I have too many projects and this one has to go unfortunatlly. When I purchased this car I was told it was a theft recovery and have slowly been fixing this car as I drive it. I tryed to get all pictures showing the blemishes but ill list them as well. All four door panels have small cuts and paint flaking off of where the grab handle is, the glove box door lock is broken and there was a cut in the door , the drivers door lock switch for the windows is broken but still functional and the left rear courtesy light does not come on when the door is open. The carpet has a couple of stains I cleaned with the carpet stuff and is 90% better but if you had a detail shop work on it they could make this car look great. The seats have no tears in the leather but show signs of normal wear. I just recently had a new battery installed and change the oil with mobil one synthetic between 3000 and 4000 miles with bmw filter. The rear cup holder is missing and the rear vent is missing one blade, the front cupholder is there but broken very usual of this make as its very flimse and does not hold much. The tilt on the sunroof has not worked since the battery was replaced not sure why. the radio quit working just before I changed the battery but it still doesnt work after, changed the amp in the rear as the bmw forum said is a common problem but did not change anything,most likely the radio itself as the orange light does not come on. The rea door shades are missing 2 large shades and one smaller shade. The vehicle also does not have a spare wheeland tire. On the exterior the rr door has a dent in it but it did not brake the paint its about 5 inches long and a pro dent remover could do it for pretty cheap I was quoted 50 bucks a panel the rf fender and hood have dents and the paint aint that good would suggest finding another hood as ther are alot of these cars in this color. The front bumper cover is cracked and missing one fog lamp and the ambient temp sensor so the outside temp says -40 another cheap part. The tires are about 50% front and rear,the brakes are about 65% front 50% rear the front pad sensor is not working. The window wash pump is not working and the front glass has a scratch from the blade not be installed correctly before I gat the car its been fixed but there is a small scratch on the bottom not in vision path plus a small rack chip. This car is sold as is but this vehicle drives and shifts excellent. I am being honest about this vehicle and not hiding anything like other listings I have seen so any question I will answer before end of auction thanks for looking and good luck.
