This is an original California black plate car. I have one of the plates. Factory Options: HO400 Turbo 400 trans Power Windows Power brakes Power Steering Power Antenna Power trunk release A/C Hideaway headlights This was a factory column shift power bench seat car. The car was built in Pontiac, Michigan. Shipped to Willetts, CA, sold at Willetts Motor Company. I have PHS docs. ENGINE: 1971 400 Catalina Engine 800CFM Q-jet modified For engine by Sean Murphy Induction with electric choke Bored 40 over New Pistons sealed power and rings Comp cam Clevite rod and main bearings STD New lifters High pressure oil pump Heads 6x 3 angle valve job new valve springs to match camshaft double roller timing chain gears Have original number 16 heads freshly done that goes with car. TRANSMISSION: rebuilt 400 with shift kit SUSPENSION: new upper and lower ball joints control arm bushings new coil springs front and rear new gas shocks front and rear reman 4 piston callipers new rotors and pads new inner and outer wheel bearings new engine mounts new rear wheel cylinders new rear shoes new brake hardware new repro rocker moldings new repro fender emblems new repro headlight actuators new repro headlight bushing kit new repro headlight switch new repro beauty rings new repro center caps all four wheel well moldings and rear rocker moldings are original to the car. frame trunk and floors no rot 98% rust free California car only rust on the car was each fender a hole about the size of a quarter which was welded solid patches. There was one tiny hole the size of a pencil eraser very bottom wheel well at the beginning of the rocker panel. New repro door seals New repro roof rail seals Reman starter New battery New Radiator New repro trunk seal Car now has 1968 GTO bucket seats and his and her hurst shifter correct for the model year. New Engine wire harness New power window wire harness (front) New console harness All 4 new reman power motors INTERIOR: Dash pad professionally recovered console in good condition rest of interior needs redone front seats rear seats package tray headliner door panels BODY/PAINT: Recromed rear bumper Reman tail light housings Like I previously noted car was 98% rust free. When I got the car it had dings and dents Car was painted base coat/clear coat its original alpine blue which is rare. Paint job is driver quality car is straight but not laser straight. Tires have about 85% of the tread left on them. Any bidders with less than 10 must contact me before bidding, or your bid will be cancelled. I do have power antenna but it needs the mast A/C compresser and condenser needs to be installed please look at the pictures carefully upon your bidding I have described this car the best I can, and the best of my knowledge Car is advertised locally so I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time.
